SUMMARY:Sense and Scalability: Investor-Ready Privacy\, AI\, & Security for Founders
DESCRIPTION:Learn how founders can turn privacy\, AI governance\, and security into trust signals that accelerate fundraising and enterprise sales.\n\n\nFounders rightfully obsess over product-market fit\, but in 2026\, institutional investors are conducting a “flight to quality.” As you approach your first serious round of funding or your first Enterprise contract\, the questions expand from “Will it grow?” to “Is it an asset\, or a liability?” \nIn this highly interactive 90-minute session\, we move beyond “compliance as a tax” to focus on trust and the specific privacy\, security\, and AI governance structures that signal operational maturity to VCs and enterprise procurement teams. \nWhether you are building Deep Tech\, FinTech\, or B2B SaaS\, you will learn how to transition from building “fast and loose” to “fast and solid.” Instead of memorizing statutes\, founders will learn the fundamentals of trust\, master the “Big Five” diligence questions\, and walk away with the Aetos GUIDE methodology to retrofit operational maturity into their product without halting development \n\n\nWhat You’ll Learn\nAdopt the Defensible Narrative: Turn “unpriced risk” into managed roadmaps to command higher valuations and speed up sales cycles. \nMaster the “Big Five”: Confidently answer the toughest diligence question regarding data inventory\, vendor risk\, privacy rights\, AI governance\, and compliance frameworks. \nNavigate AI Risk: Identify “Shadow AI” vs. “Product AI” and apply the Co-Pilot Protocol to avoid the “Dark Triad” of agentic AI vulnerabilities. \nImplement the GUIDE Framework: Use the Govern\, Understand\, Implement\, Demonstrate\, and Evolve methodology to build a right-sized trust program \nWhat to Expect\nThis workshop combines strategic discussion with practical exercises and founder-focused problem solving\, including: \n\nReal-world investor and procurement scenarios\nA collaborative incident response simulation\nTactical frameworks founders can immediately implement\n\nParticipant Takeaways\nAttendees will leave with: \n\nA lightweight data mapping template\nInvestor-ready “green flag” language for diligence conversations\nAn AI governance protocol for reducing operational risk\nThe Aetos GUIDE framework for scaling trust alongside growth\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nPre-seed and seed-stage founders\nAI-native\, B2B SaaS\, FinTech\, HealthTech\, and Deep Tech startups\nTeams preparing for institutional fundraising or enterprise sales\nOperators who want to build trust into their products from the beginning\n\n\n\n\nMeet the Speakers\nShayne Adler | Co-Founder & CEO\, Aetos Data Solutions \nShayne Adler is the operational and strategic force behind Aetos Data Solutions\, where she helps founders navigate the complex intersection of governance\, compliance\, and operational maturity. With a background spanning law\, nonprofit leadership\, and business operations\, Shayne brings a systems-oriented approach to helping companies scale responsibly. She holds a BA from Columbia University\, a JD\, and an MBA from the University of Michigan\, blending legal insight with practical business strategy. Her work focuses on helping startups build the structures\, accountability\, and trust frameworks increasingly expected by investors\, enterprise buyers\, and regulators alike. \nLauren Krauss | Co-Founder\, Aetos Data Solutions \nLauren Krauss brings an operator’s and investor’s lens to the relationship between compliance\, trust\, and business growth. SUMMARY:Launchpad Liftoff Pitch Competition
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to watch some killer startups battle it out for the ultimate launch boost!\n\n\nLaunchpad Liftoff: Pitch Night\nThursday\, June 11 · Doors at 5:30 PM \nSeven founders. One stage. A community of people showing up for each other. \nLaunchpad Liftoff is more than a pitch competition — it’s a night where our community gathers to lift up seven selected founders as they take the stage in front of venture capitalists\, executives\, and active funding sources. And you have a seat in the room. \nThis isn’t a transactional networking event. It’s an intentional gathering of people who believe that the right introduction\, the right conversation\, and the right room can change everything. Music by DJ Darry J sets the tone for the room. 🎤 6:30 PM — Programming begins. Seven founders take the stage. 🏆 After Pitches — The winner is announced and awarded a prize to help build and scale their startup. (Total prize amount to be announced — sponsorships still in motion.) 🥂 To Close — The part of the night where the real connections happen. Stay. Talk. Trade ideas. Find your people. \nWhat to Expect \n\nLive pitches from seven founders our community has rallied behind\nA room of VCs\, executives\, funding sources\, and the people who champion them\nSpace to make intentional connections — not just collect business cards\nA chance to be part of someone’s “I met them at Liftoff” story.\n\nIncluded With Your Ticket \nWater\, soda\, beer\, and wine for a limited time\, plus appetizers to keep the conversation going. \nAlso On Site\nA cash bar for cocktails and access to additional food in the food hall\, available throughout the evening. \nImportant: Age & Atmosphere \n\nMust be 21+ to drink. Please keep this in mind when bringing younger children — our founders are pitching their life’s work and need a focused\, distraction-free room to do it well. Holding that space for them is part of how our community shows up.\n\nWho Should Be in the Room\nThis room is built for people who believe in showing up for each other: \n\nInvestors and funders ready to meet the founders our community is backing\nExecutives and operators open to their next chapter — and to mentoring the next one\nFounders looking for their people\, their peers\, and the rooms where things start\nMentors\, supporters\, and connectors who know that one introduction can change a trajectory\nAnyone in our community who wants to cheer loud\, stay late\, and be part of what’s next\n\nIf you came alone\, you won’t leave that way. \nAbout the Organizer \nWe’re a nonprofit organization on a mission to accelerate economic mobility by empowering individuals with practical tech training\, entrepreneurial resources\, and career development support — creating clear\, sustainable pathways to success in an evolving digital economy. \nBut the work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in community. Every program we run\, every event we host\, and every founder we champion is held up by the people who show up — intentionally\, generously\, and consistently — for one another. \nPhoto & Video Consent Notice \nBy entering this event space\, you acknowledge and agree that photography\, video recording\, and other media capture may be in progress. \nYour presence constitutes your consent to be photographed\, filmed\, and/or otherwise recorded. We intentionally price our events so that anyone who wants to be in the room can be in the room. Pitch nights aren’t just for people with deep pockets — they’re for everyone in our community working toward something\, supporting someone\, or ready to be part of what’s next. \nReserve your seat below.
