US military veterans: learn business planning, startup fundamentals, and local resources during this two day workshop.
Designed for US Military veterans, “Kickstart Your Next Mission” provides an initial introduction to the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on local resources available.
This is a two day workshop on August 6 & 7 at Seminole State College – Heathrow Campus
- 2 Sessions Thursday and Friday, from 8:00am – 3:00pm
- 7 hours per session
- Classes include:
Module 1: Starting a business, what makes an entrepreneur
Module 2: The entrepreneurial process idea to concept
Module 3: Markets and competitive spaces
Module 4: Economic model of a business
Module 5: Legal considerations
Module 6: Business planning
Module 7: Financing the future
Module 8: Moving forward final thoughts and resources
