Launchpad Liftoff is more than a pitch competition — it’s a night where our community gathers to lift up seven selected founders as they take the stage in front of venture capitalists, executives, and active funding sources. And you have a seat in the room.

This isn’t a transactional networking event. It’s an intentional gathering of people who believe that the right introduction, the right conversation, and the right room can change everything. Whether you’re investing, building, supporting, or simply curious — you belong here.

Run of Show

🎧 5:30 PM — Doors open. Music by DJ Darry J sets the tone for the room. 🎤 6:30 PM — Programming begins. Seven founders take the stage. 🏆 After Pitches — The winner is announced and awarded a prize to help build and scale their startup. (Total prize amount to be announced — sponsorships still in motion.) 🥂 To Close — The part of the night where the real connections happen. Stay. Talk. Trade ideas. Find your people.

What to Expect

• Live pitches from seven founders our community has rallied behind
• A room of VCs, executives, funding sources, and the people who champion them
• Space to make intentional connections — not just collect business cards
• A chance to be part of someone’s “I met them at Liftoff” story.

Water, soda, beer, and wine for a limited time, plus appetizers to keep the conversation going.

Also On Site

A cash bar for cocktails and access to additional food in the food hall, available throughout the evening.

Important: Age & Atmosphere

• Must be 21+ to drink. Valid ID required at the bar.
• Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• This is an adult atmosphere. Please keep this in mind when bringing younger children — our founders are pitching their life’s work and need a focused, distraction-free room to do it well. Holding that space for them is part of how our community shows up.

About the Organizer

We’re a nonprofit organization on a mission to accelerate economic mobility by empowering individuals with practical tech training, entrepreneurial resources, and career development support — creating clear, sustainable pathways to success in an evolving digital economy.

But the work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in community. Every program we run, every event we host, and every founder we champion is held up by the people who show up — intentionally, generously, and consistently — for one another.
